Peter Kuhlmann FAICD

Peter is a third generation farmer at Mudamuckla, East of Ceduna. Wheat is the main enterprise on the 8800 hectare property complimented with barley, oats, prime lambs and wool.

Peter is passionate about research and is an early adopter of technology.

He has incorporated no till; the use of fluid fertilisers and precision agriculture into his farming system.

Peter spends much of his time in Adelaide where he manages and administers his business interests.

Linda Eldredge B.REM, MAICD

Linda and husband Rhys farm in the Lower North.

She has had experience in banking at a senior level, and as well as her farming interest, is also involved in regional skills training. She is involved in numerous community educational and sporting bodies.

Linda was appointed as the Minister's representative in 2005.

Jim Heaslip GAICD JP

Jim Heaslip is from Appila in the mid North of SA where he farms with his wife Genvieve. He grows wheat, barley, peas, beans, export hay and buys in lambs over summer for prime lamb production.

He has had extensive involvement in community groups such as school councils, sporting bodies and the CFS.

Jim was instrumental in the establishment of the SA NoTill Farmers Association (SANTFA), being its inaugural Admin Officer for 4 years, and received an Award of Excellence for his services.

Jim's interest in leading edge technology, along with his governance skills led to his appointment as SAGIT trustee in 2005.

Simon Ballinger

Simon farms with his parents and wife at Wolseley in the South East. Simon is 35 and interests include football, tennis and family.
He has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agriculture (Roseworthy) and TAFE Certificate in Rural Business Management
